Update to Order Processing Schedule
during COVID-19 Sequester

Due to the number of customers whose practices are either closed or have extremely limited hours of operation, incoming orthotic orders have diminished to a point where maintaining a full time staff and technicians for fabricating and shipping product is impractical.


Beginning April 2nd, Biomechanical Services will be fabricating orders on a part time schedule, based on the number of orders received for processing. We will maintain our daily receiving department functions to take in orders from Federal Express, U. S. Postal Service and our local courier service.


Weekly scheduled courier service to customers in the greater Los Angeles area is suspended until further notice. We can arrange intermittent pick-up service as needed. Customers must call us before 12:00 PST or send an email to: customerservice@biomechanical.com to schedule a pick up for following day. All courier service orders will be returned via FedEx Ground service, unless other arrangements are made in advance of the ship date.


Our front office staff will not be ordinarily available for incoming phone calls on customer service questions, requests or patient consultations. When clarification is needed on pending orders, we will continue making intermittent attempts to contact customers during those times when staff is on premises for a scheduled shift. When you send orders to the laboratory, please list a phone number and email address on the order form so we can contact you directly.

We plan to return to our usual daily operations as soon as the volume of inbound orders increases to where we can reinstate our staff and technicians to full time status.
